We are always on the lookout for some fresh faces to join our superstar team. We are a privately-owned business, based in Preston, Victoria, with an amazing reputation for quality customer service and a wide variety of products. With our peak season fast approaching, we are now looking to fill the following positions:
- Retail/Sales Assistant
- Warehouse Assistant
- Snowboard Technician
- Rental Assistant
Our ideal candidate/s will have a background in snowboarding (or skiing – don’t worry we won’t hold that against you) and a love for all things snow. Experience in a retail or rental setting is preferred, however not essential, with extra points awarded to anyone with previous snow retail experience. You must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be committed to customer satisfaction, and hold a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We have a close-knit crew, requiring you to work well as a team and help out other staff when required. Our number one emphasis here at Melbourne Snowboard is customer service and we aim to provide this for every customer that walks into store or purchases from us online.

Boot Fitter: Must have previous experience fitting snowboard boots, knowledge of key brands and how they fit as well as understanding the heat moulding process. Previous experience selling SIDAS insoles is preferred but not essential.
Retail/Sales Assistant: Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment is essential, knowledge of a variety of snowboard brands and outerwear is preferred however not essential as we do provide in-store training to get you up to speed. The successful candidate/s will be driven, enthusiastic and be committed to providing good old-fashioned customer service.
Warehouse Assistant: Must hold a Victorian driver’s licence. Forklift licence a bonus however, some heavy lifting for this role is required. This job is ideally suited to someone who has a keen eye for detail and can take initiative to store and organise our ever-expanding range of products.
Snowboard Technician: Ideally you will have experience with waxing, edge sharpening and repairs, base repairs (P-tex and metal grip) and be confident using Wintersteiger or Montana machines.
Rental Assistant: During the winter season we have a third of our store dedicated to rentals for customers who want to experience the mountains without the significant cost. We need rental staff members who are meticulous with details and are able to work in a team environment.
Customer Service Staff: An ideal candidate would be a fulltime employee. Must demonstrate high levels of communication, professional phone etiquette is a bonus. Great problem-solving skills. Diligent with emails and inbound phone calls. A knowledge of all things snow and snowboards is preferred.
